The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Position Summary
Supervise Community Health Aides/Practitioners (CHA/Ps) in specific job performance and ensures quality health care and compliance at the village level. Working with the Supervisor Instructor will assist with clinic staff supervision and maintain and improve clinic premises and operations in compliance with the Joint Commission, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1978, CHAP Certification Board and the Community Health Aide Manual (CHAM).
Position Qualifications
Positive work history.
Community Health Aide III.
Two (2) years experience in providing health care.
Current Alaska Certified Community Health Practitioner (CHP) certification.
Current ETT. EMT I preferred
Clear Background check.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Email, RPMS and Telehealth.
Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
Management and/or supervisory experience in a rural, cross-cultural setting preferred.
Bilingual Yup’ik/English, Cup’ik/English or Athabascan/English preferred.
Supervise staff and operations of village clinics
