Channel Sales Manager

The Client:

Metric Search are working with a global leading engineered equipment manufacturer on a hiring project for their US business. The company are recognized as a global-leader in flow control solutions. The company design, manufacture and service custom-engineered valves and systems to a range of market applications. A lot of their products are built to withstand harsh environments, such as high temperature, high pressure or highly corrosive materials. They have a mission to make processes safer and greener, and continue to be at the forefront of engineering.

The Position:

This world leading company are recruiting for a Channel Sales Manager to lead growth for their indirect sales channel in Texas. You will be responsible for supporting partners with sales and assisting customers with technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple distributors in the Texas market
• Identify opportunities in the oil & gas and power markets to increase sales for the product line
• Conduct face to face visits with customers to effectively promote the product
• Provide adequate training and support to customers and channel partners
• Build sales strategy for sales channel and execute effectively against sales goals
• Conduct market and competitive analysis for the target market segments

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with valves or other flow control equipment
• Knowledge of the oil & gas, refining and/or power markets
• Managed and supported sales through distribution channels
• Experience in a customer-facing function and can show the ability to identify opportunities to sell products
• Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferred, not required)
