Title: Change/Release Management Specialist

Location: Remote (USA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
  • Document and communicate business, system, and technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including system test-related tasks
  • Provide deliverables that account for emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
  • Handle multi-faceted and complex assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting aggressive schedules.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
  • Work closely with a technical team of Architects, Database Engineers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Testers, and other technical staff,
  • Follow established processes (i.e., SDLC, A&A) and develop required document deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other IT related field.
  • ITIL-based Change and Release Management experience, especially using ServiceNow.
  • 3 years of demonstrated requirements development and management experience across.
  • Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration.
  • Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Preferred Skills:

  • ITIL Foundations certification

  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including advising and influencing clients regarding process improvement initiatives, and working positively.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
