Schedule Flexibility: Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week, working 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM).
On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in a rotating call schedule, with 1-3 weeknight and 1-3 weekend calls every 6 weeks. May be assigned 2-3 in-house Sunday shifts as a regular shift.
Holiday Coverage: Must work at least one major holiday and associated weekends per year.
Responsibilities
Surgical Support: Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, ensuring the sterile field is maintained and all instruments and equipment are properly handled.
Patient Care: Prepare patients for surgery, provide pre-and post-operative care, and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Equipment and Supply Management: Maintain inventory and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.
Documentation: Accurately document surgical procedures and patient information using the Epic charting system.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
