Full-time and part-time positions available for PSIA/AASI certified instructors for the 24/25 winter season! The instructor will provide quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals in a safe and fun manner.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Clearly instruct assigned levels of skiing and/or snowboarding to students
Teach following PSIA/AASI standards.
Teach all ages in both private lessons and group lessons.
Treat every guest with respect and patience.
Assist guests to load and unload the chairlift.
Assisting in operational responsibilities the Mountain Sports School programs including but not limited to registration process, directing guests to appropriate equipment-fitting source and upkeep of outdoor teaching areas.
Job Qualifications
Attend Brundage Mountain training sessions.
Current Level I, 2, or 3 PSIA/AASI certification
Children’s Specialist I or 2 preferred.
Possess in-depth knowledge of skiing/riding concepts and teaching methodology; capability to safely instruct clients of all skiing/riding ability.
Passion for working with all ages.
Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental skiing/riding concepts and teaching methodology
Believes in the teaching methods of PSIA/AASI
Other Requirements
Ability to work in all Weather Conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, squat, ski or snowboard for extended periods of time.
