What You'll Do
Conduct fair and thorough evaluations of residential real estate by analyzing market data and property specifics, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Perform on-site inspections, documenting findings through detailed notes, measurements, and photographs.
Consider all factors influencing property value, including legal characteristics, market conditions, and physical attributes.
Utilize various valuation approaches, such as sales comparison, cost, and income methods, to determine property values accurately.
Collaborate with senior appraisers to maintain quality standards and implement process improvements.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss appraisal strategies and ensure timely delivery of reports.
What You'll Bring
Ability to adapt to diverse client requirements and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for interacting with appraisers, vendors, and operational teams.
Organizational prowess, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Preferably experienced in REO appraisals, with knowledge of HUD/FHA guidelines being advantageous.
Active Appraiser Certification as required by state regulatory agencies, with a clean disciplinary record over the past decade.
Valid driver's license.
