As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, assisting them with activities of daily living, and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Help patients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Take and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
Help patients with mobility issues to move around safely, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
Assist with simple medical procedures such as wound care, applying dressings, and collecting specimens for testing.
Monitor patients for changes in condition or behavior and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
Keep patients' rooms tidy and assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Accurately document all care provided to patients in medical records, including ADL assistance, vital signs, and any observations.
Adhere to all healthcare facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
