Currently seeking a Catering and Event Sales Manager for a great opportunity with an established and growing fine dining restaurant company. The ideal candidate must have catering sales management experience in an upscale/fine dining restaurant.
Compensation: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
Responsibilities of the Catering and Event Sales Manager
Attain the financial objectives of the business through effective management of people, product, service and facility processes, including a focus on the revenue and profit components.
Increase revenue through up-selling and promotional programs, and improve employee product knowledge and training.
Complete knowledge and enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Catering and Event Sales Manager
Must be entrepreneurial and visionary, yet be very hands-on, with a positive can-do attitude, which reflects the company's corporate culture
Must have high intellect and analytical capabilities and place a premium on mental stamina and enjoy performing at high levels of focus
Must also include project management, problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to communicate with other employees up and down the organizational chart and lead a group toward a common vision
Must be well organized, computer literate, detail-oriented, and have the ability to delegate responsibility as needed
