Category Manager (Director, Strategic Sourcing) -- Remote | WFH

Join a dynamic team focused on transforming our business through strategic sourcing and vendor management. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategies to support multiple divisions within our organization.

What You'll Do

Collaborate for Impact: Partner closely with business units to identify service providers that align with our business priorities. Facilitate the selection process through RFI's, RFP's, and RFQ's to ensure optimal vendor partnerships.

Negotiate and Secure: Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms from our suppliers. Manage contract reviews and redlines with support from legal and compliance teams to minimize risk.

Drive Performance: Own critical vendor relationships, ensuring timely issue resolution and driving continuous improvement in vendor performance. Utilize tools like Workday and Concur to streamline operational processes and optimize efficiency.

About You

Experience: 5-7+ years in procurement, with a strong track record of negotiating complex contracts. Experience in large organizations or companies preferred.

Skills: Superior analytical skills with a knack for both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across all organizational levels and with external vendors.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
