Job Summary

The Career Advisors will work directly with high school Juniors and Seniors with vocational rehabilitation needs, delivering an innovative school-based curriculum. In this role, you will provide program participants with career counseling, placement, and related services within the assigned geographic territory. These year-round, full-time positions are anticipated to involve at least 75% travel, with a home office base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an innovative school-based curriculum to high school Juniors and Seniors with vocational rehabilitation needs.
  • Provide one-on-one career counseling, placement, and related services to program participants.
  • Travel to participating schools and job sites within the assigned geographic territory.
  • Conduct small group sessions to enhance the effectiveness of vocational rehabilitation services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma in combination with either:
    • Experience working with priority populations of the program supporting or
    • Experience developing business relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • A criminal background check that meets Agency standards.
Preferred Qualifications

  • ACRE Certified Employment Specialist.
  • BA/BS in business, human services, human relations, or related fields.
