USFTGP Taleo Facility Profile: University of South Florida Tampa General Physicians (USFTGP) was created through an advanced affiliation between The University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital to provide advanced care to patients and their families throughout Florida. Specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, hepatology, organ transplantation, pediatrics, primary care, neurology, OBGYN, neurosurgery & orthopedics. A Care Coordinator informs and educates patients about their condition. Care Coordinators provide patients with care and treatment plans. They also oversee the process and ensure patients are connected with their corresponding professionals. Duties & Responsibilitie

  • Participates in payer group meetings and perform gap closures by supporting patient billing and cheduling outreach
  • Utilizes health databases to document notes, study accounts, and communicate with necessary parties to ensure outstanding balances are prevented and collected
  • Monitors quality performance trends by maintaining reports up-to-date
  • Aids patients with treatment plans by communicating with health professionals to provide referrals, coordinating home care and DME services, and assists with the transition of care management Medical Assistant Certification is required.
