Cardiac Procedural Pre / Post Registered Nurse

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for a Cardiac Procedural Pre/Post Registered Nurse to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Attend to quality patient care in the pre-procedural and post-procedural settings before interventional radiology and interventional cardiology procedures
• Oversee nursing care of the patient during non-invasive cardiac procedures including transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversion.
• Assist with patient pre-assessment and scheduling, obtaining required pre-procedural documentation and diagnostic tests, and obtaining IV access.
• Facilitate intraprocedural assessment and monitoring, administration of conscious sedation to the patient during non-invasive cardiac procedures, and monitoring and recovery of cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology patients post procedurally.
• Oversee and monitor the patient for decompensation and complications before, during, and after cardiology and radiology procedures, administer medications and conscious sedation.
