Passionate Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Seeking to Make a Difference
Key Responsibilities
Empathetically interact with patients while assisting physicians in Cardiac Catheterization procedures, contributing significantly to cardiac diagnoses. Maintain accurate documentation of hemodynamics and execute procedures with precision. Operate x-ray equipment for fluoroscopy procedures and ensure QA and maintenance of cardiac cath lab equipment. Utilize appropriate equipment and supplies efficiently. Demonstrate proficiency in reporting systems for patient safety incidents and medical errors to enhance patient care. Remain attentive and responsive to patient needs, prioritizing their well-being in all aspects of care. Regularly participate in educational sessions and training to uphold quality standards in infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma required, CCAHEP accredited program graduation preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years as a Cath Tech, ARRT certification required.
Registrations: Current RCVT or RCIS or ARRT; FL State Radiographer License preferred.
Certification: Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
Additional Information
Full-time position with on-call responsibilities.
Minimum 1 year experience required.
ARRT or RCIS certification required.
Salary range: $24-$35 per hour based on experience.
Sign-on bonus: $10,000.
Relocation assistance available for candidates residing over 100 miles away.
