Job Summary

The Washington Post is seeking a Campaign Manager to own day-to-day ad operations and manage a broad range of tasks aligned to campaign strategy to meet client outcomes. A successful Campaign Manager will work hand in hand with the Account Management and Planning teams to coordinate, implement and oversee the execution of print and digital advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for executing advertising campaigns for advertisers according to contract
  • Manages the fulfillment of advertising campaigns to ensure timely and accurate implementation by:
    • Partnering with finance team for all new accounts, credit terms and payment
    • Executing order entry for print display campaigns
    • Ensuring the initial gathering of deliverables, builds and execution of campaigns on technology platforms
  • Set-up digital advertising campaigns in relevant platform by:
    • Trafficking ads via ad servers (GAM, Apple News, AdSwizz, etc.)
    • Implementing digital third-party tracking, such as DFA, on behalf of agency partners
    • Troubleshooting all creative specs and tagging issues with the clients & agencies
    • Partnering with AdOps on all non-standard and custom ad builds and executions
  • Send confirmation of activation (screenshots and digital tearsheets)
  • Monitor and deliver weekly client reporting
  • Execute orders for Promo Pool, Placeholder, and Page Furniture
  • Complete billing reconciliation documents on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant digital account management or AdOps experience
  • Advanced skill level of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Ability to work independently across teams
  • Experience with systems, platforms, and vendors such as: JIRA, Operative, Google Ad Manager, DFA, DV, IAS (desired)

The Washington Post includes salary ranges for certain positions to comply with local pay transparency laws. The salary range for this position is:

64,300.00 - 96,500.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
