Role: Camera Testing Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Day One Onsite)

Duration: 6-12+ Months

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of CE Devices Architecture
  • Develop testing requirement documents, testing setup requirements, and testing architecture required for each test.
  • Identify, test, track, and report KPI trends over the course of the projects
  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences
  • Experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance, and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation
  • Testing of devices at different thermal and environment conditions (for eg. Setup based on different env conditions)

Required Skills (Technical Competency)

  • System and functional level validation of Camera level use cases on hardware perspective
  • Test setup specific for Camera validation
  • Performance testing background
  • Testing in different thermal and other env scenarios
  • Proficient in Python programming for test automation
  • Proficient in design and development of Python Test Applications for Linux /Android Platform
  • Familiarity in usage of Numpy, MatplotLib, Pandas etc for Performance Characterization
  • Hands own experience in product/Hardware testing & test automation
  • Proficient with adb programming
  • Product understanding
  • AR Glasses
  • 2 Camera, 2 Speaker, multiple Camera, WiFi, BT, IMU Sensors
  • Connectivity limited to Phone
