CAD Technician

Compensation: $22-25/hr

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled CAD Designer/Detailer to join their team!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer/Detailer to join our team. This position is critical as we ramp up to support an increase in business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings for various projects.
• Possibly work with specialized distribution software tools such as OCalc and POCALC.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure drawings meet project specifications and client requirements.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude by taking on tasks beyond basic assignments and contributing to the team’s overall success.
• Learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies within the industry.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience with AutoCAD
• Strong aptitude and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
• A background in traditional CAD design (e.g., designing for signage, utilities, or telecommunications) is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• A proactive mindset, with the willingness to take initiative and engage actively in projects.
• Exposure to distribution type software such as OCalc and POCALC is a plus.
• Desire to build a long-term career with the company, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
