Role: Quantitative Developer C++, Trading

Location: Remote, or Hybrid out of NYC

Compensation: Up to $2,000,000 TC.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, engineer, and deploy software solutions for handling diverse financial assets, focusing on futures, foreign exchange, bonds, and related markets.
  • Develop computational models tailored to various financial sectors, facilitating simulation, trading, and operational functionalities.
  • Devise and implement software applications to enhance financial trading and execution evaluation processes.
  • Expand software platforms to encompass additional markets and asset types, ensuring accurate financial representation.
  • Offer technical assistance to traders during portfolio order execution.
  • Collaborate with researchers to design software supporting new trading strategies, while collecting and analyzing market data.
  • Evaluate software trading performance and quantitative metrics to guide decision-making on financial systems.
  • Serve as the technical liaison for team discussions and engagements across the organization.


Qualifications:


  • Seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of a decade's worth of expertise; preference given to those with over 10 years' involvement in low-latency trading.
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in C++, C, or similar for system software development in Linux; familiarity with Rust is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in distributed systems and networking, encompassing TCP/IP, UDP multicast, kernel bypass, and application-level protocol development.
  • Highly desirable to possess expertise in Futures, FX, and treasuries market microstructure.
  • Familiarity with low-latency software methodologies such as cache-aware data structures, lock-free programming, and memory management.
  • Understanding of market microstructure components including matching engines, exchange gateways, and order management.
  • Experience with automated trading systems, including order entry and market data protocols like CTA SIP, UQDF SIP, FIX, FAST, OUCH, ITCH, PITCH, and BOE.
  • Prior exposure to financial markets, encompassing participants and asset intricacies like equities, futures, options, and forex.
  • Proficient in systems scripting within a Linux environment, including Python scripting capabilities.
