The Buyer Support/Administrative position is a key role in the Brand Procurement team, who is responsible for executing the day-to-day collaboration between our company and the supplier. This role is tasked with the Managing PO’s of product requisition, maintaining on-time delivery, supplier reverse logistics.
Essential Functions

Purchase Orders with Suppliers:
Confirmation Delivery dates and uploading PO’s to suppliers.
Delivery of Product:
Obtain accurate availability, detailed delivery schedule and product constraints to support forecast and product run rates
Expedite delivery of goods to meet customer needs
Follow-up on delays and backorders, look for alternative solutions where applicable
Continuously work with supplier to efficiently minimize any shipment discrepancies
Vendor Returns:
Initiate vendor returns based on contractual terms (stock balance, defective and NCMRs)
Facilitate RMA process to execute return of goods
Skills
Strong communication skills with results-oriented, internal drive.
Time-management and sense of urgency are crucial to success.
Ability to achieve outcomes using inventive thinking with supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, i.e., Outlook, Excel, Teams (Power BI, a plus).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an on-site role and the job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Normal business days are Monday through Friday, work hours will be assigned in advance.
Required Education/Experience
Minimum of 4 years Purchasing experience required.
Familiar with a variety of purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures, including price protections, MDF, VIR, etc.
