About the Role

This exciting DTC Planner role will be responsible for optimizing the DTC channels with accountability to financial sales, gross margin and inventory plans for across all categories for the Loeffler Randall business. This candidate will establish a DTC OTB process and day to day management of inventory through the market buy process and in-season optimization with replenishment needs. This candidate will balance working on multiple seasons at once - current season analysis, upcoming markets and hindsighting previous. This role reports to the Director of the DTC Channel with in-office (Monday - Thursday) expectation at our NYC Office (SoHo).


Responsibilities

DTC BUYING & PLANNING

• Build out a strong OTB process that focuses on in-season priorities and adjusting future strategies as needed.

• Oversee the success of preseason sales and inventory plans by division and category that support product strategies.

• Reconcile top down to bottom-up division/category plans.

• Own 4x/year Full Price buy within market for the DTC Digital & Stores – assortment selection based on Hindsight/future trends, planning sales & inventory at SKU level & presenting buy to senior team members.

• Build and maintain pre-market hindsight decks/tools, and own the buy template in collaboration with Toolio.

• Develop e-commerce and store assortments by location by analyzing product performance, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.


IN-SEASON BUSINESS OPTIMIZATION & MANAGEMENT

• As needed, re-forecast business in-season based on current performance, present revised projections and recommendations to cross functional partners and leadership.

• Analyze inventory position across the DTC business; Identify and communicate potential inventory liabilities and drive appropriate markdown or promotional actions to resolution

• Proactive in analyzing replenishment and seasonal performance in-season and make chase recommendations to capitalize on opportunities.

• Manage inbound receipt.


SALES REPORTING

• Weekly & Monthly sales reporting including more detailed quarterly hindsights; build a easy to follow narrative through data analysis and present to cross-functional teams.

• Help to identify efficiencies needed across reporting and recommend tools/formats accordingly.

• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects as needed.


Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in fashion or fashion adjacent industry with planning and/or buying experience.

• Experience at a DTC digital focused brand; founder-led business.

• Previous experience in Toolio and Net Suite a must; experience with Shopify a plus.

• Experience in Footwear or sized category is a plus.

• Highly proficient in Excel with analytical skill-set in addition to customer-focused mindset.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and strives to improve work flow.

• Self-starter who can work independently and is comfortable with ambiguity with evolving business priorities.

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems & present efficient solutions.

• Strength in building and maintaining relationships and fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect across key cross-functional partners.
