Buyer IV -- Remote | WFH

Join a dynamic team where your expertise in procurement will shine. We're seeking a Buyer IV to take charge of every aspect of purchase order administration, from initial planning to final closure. This role is perfect for someone with deep knowledge of government purchasing processes and a knack for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Source Selection and Negotiation: Identify the best suppliers, negotiate prices, and secure commitments to meet our needs while complying with regulations.

Communication: Keep stakeholders informed about procurement progress and support special requirements as needed.

Purchase Order Management: Review and process purchase requisitions, evaluate proposals, and execute purchase orders efficiently and accurately.

Compliance and Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, HR, Finance, and Program teams to achieve our collective goals.

Qualifications

Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field plus eight years of experience (or Master's degree plus five years). Previous experience in subcontracts, procurement, or supply chain management is essential.

Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of SharePoint, is required.

Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Costpoint), process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma), and familiarity with various subcontract types.
