We are looking for a dynamic Buyer IV to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll oversee the complete lifecycle of purchase orders, from initial planning and sourcing to negotiation and closure. Responsibilities
Source Selection and Negotiation: Identify and establish reliable suppliers, negotiate prices and delivery terms to ensure optimal value.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on procurement activities and addressing special requirements.
Process Adherence: Follow established procurement procedures meticulously to maintain compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
Record Management: Maintain accurate procurement records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Strategic Support: Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Business Development and Program Management to support strategic objectives and initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and actively participate in improvement projects.
Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, paired with at least 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related areas. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, and familiarity with integrated software applications is required.
Knowledge: Experience with various types of procurement contracts (e.g., Cost-Plus, Fixed Price) is preferred.
US Citizenship: This role requires US Citizenship due to the nature of the work.
