We are helping an Automotive Supplier to find a Buyer to join their team.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for timely sourcing of materials and services.
• Collaborate with project managers to align procurement plans with timelines and budgets.
• Conduct market research to evaluate prospective vendors for quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance.
• Broaden the scope of quote requests to maximize potential savings, enhance delivery, and ensure exceptional quality.
• Manage purchase orders and track deliveries for timely receipt of materials.
• Foster strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contract terms.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of purchasing experience within the manufacturing industry
• Proven experience sourcing & identifying potential suppliers, as well as facilitating RFQs, and managing the vendor selection process
• Proven negotiation skills and vendor relationship management expertise.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Occasional travel to suppliers required.
