$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Buyer in Orlando, FL.


Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented team player to join us as a Buyer. In this role, you will oversee the entire order process, ensuring seamless execution from proposal review to supplier selection, order placement, delivery verification, and payment approval. Your responsibilities will include negotiating prices, analyzing market trends, and maintaining comprehensive records to support efficient procurement operations.


Must Haves:

  • 2-3years of purchasing or buying experience
  • Preferred experience with aftermarket or wholesale materials
  • Willingness to work completely onsite
  • Bonus eligible


Responsibilities:

  • Review proposals and quotations from suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of agreements with suppliers.
  • Select and evaluate the best suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to anticipate changes in demand and pricing.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Verify receipt of goods and services to confirm compliance with purchase orders.
  • Approve payment for completed orders and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective supplier relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
