The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

Responsibilities

In this position...

• Manage supplier RFIs, RFPs, and Sourcing Agreements.
• Lead supplier commercial negotiations.
• Assist in resolution of cost, quality and delivery issues affecting supply.
  
  
  

What You'll Do...

• Ensure suppliers adherence to Ford Global Terms and Conditions.
• Ensure timely responses to all quality issues and processing of SREA’s and Alerts, when applicable.
• Timely resolution of commercial issues.
• Analysis of data from a variety of internal and external sources to deliver the best value to Ford.
• Quote and negotiate pricing with suppliers for the purchase of Maintenance & Light Repair parts, tooling and services.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies.
  
  
  

Qualifications

You'll have...

• BA / BS Degree is preferred – MBA a plus.
• 2-4 years of Previous Purchasing experience preferred.

• SAP, MMP, IERP and CMMS knowledge preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including negotiation skills.
• Highly organized self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficient in using Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams.
• Comfortable dealing in internal and external conflicts.
