Key Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in business analysis within finance or accounting, with exposure to the insurance industry preferred.
Proficiency in Process Flow Diagramming, Six Sigma, and process standardization/improvement.
Solid Organizational Skills And Experience In Requirements Elicitation.
Strong understanding of finance principles and familiarity with GAAP standards.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to facilitate elicitation and read-out sessions with project leadership teams.
Proven ability to build relationships, foster trust, and drive consensus with business process owners.
Client service orientation with a knack for identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions in dynamic environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct interviews with stakeholders across various profit centers to understand current state finance workflows.
Review and analyze workflows related to invoicing, cash application, AR processing, AP procurement and management, monthly close and reporting, and treasury management.
Gather and document requirements effectively.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Previous experience in Business Systems Analysis within finance or accounting.
Experience with process flow diagramming and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with GAAP standards and their application in business contexts.
Client-facing Experience And Strong Relationship-building Skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
Ability to navigate large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
