Job Description
We are currently seeking Business Systems Analysts with a finance/accounting background to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in business analysis within finance/accounting, with a strong preference for those with exposure to the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
Conduct interviews with stakeholders across various profit centers to understand current state finance workflows.
Review and analyze workflows including invoicing, cash application, AR processing, AP procurement and management, monthly close and reporting, treasury management, etc.
Gather and document requirements effectively.
Utilize expertise in process flow diagramming and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process standardization and improvement initiatives.
Facilitate productive elicitation and read-out sessions with project leadership teams.
Build and nurture relationships with business process owners to foster trust and facilitate shared understanding.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in Business Systems Analysis within finance/accounting.
Strong familiarity with GAAP standards and finance principles.
Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
Proficiency in process flow diagramming and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and presentation.
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Client-facing Experience Is Preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
