The job role is of a Business Systems Analyst, primarily working on Cloud and Big Data projects in the Data Warehousing and Data Analytics domain.
The position requires serving as a liaison between business operations, technology groups, clients, business partners, vendors, and project management offices to understand and manage business requirements.
The primary responsibilities include analysis and documentation to support Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing for cloud projects.
The analyst will provide Health Insurance domain expertise, gather business requirements, and perform data analysis to assess the feasibility and impact of these requirements.
The role includes gathering data integration requirements, identifying and documenting data transformation logic, and defining metadata and rules associated with data integration processes.
The analyst will act as a bridge between the technical and business teams through their knowledge and experience of Data Warehousing and Healthcare Insurance domain.
Responsibilities also include participation in data modeling and data visualizations, deep business analysis, systems and data analysis, and gathering reporting requirements.
The analyst will be involved in the functional testing of the data warehouse application and work with business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing.
The role requires hands-on experience in SQL and the ability to perform data analysis to support the tasks.
The analyst will also assist the Development team in developing data-driven solutions with Google Cloud technologies.
Key requirements for this role include expertise in Business Analysis and Data Analysis in the Healthcare Insurance domain, experience in gathering requirements from business users, hands-on experience in SQL, knowledge of Data Warehouse and data modeling.
Experience using Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tools such as Datastage \/ Informatica, GCP Bigquery, Tableau and SSRS is also required.
The role requires approximately 8 to 10 years of experience in Data domains and ecosystems, a willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge, the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Other requirements include strong verbal and written communication skills, experience in Microsoft office tools, proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to articulate issues and challenges to stakeholders early and clearly.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's \/ Master's degree in computer science, or a Masters in Business Administration.
