Title: IT Business Support Analyst - Finance

Location: Riverside, CA

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 DOE

Requirements: 3+ years of experience and experience working with finance

We are a Christian Organization and are looking for a Business Support Analyst to join our team in Riverside, CA. An ideal candidate should have an interest in joining a Christian Organization, and must have 3+ years of experience.

In this position, you will assist and coordinate with the division of Finance and Administration, and the departments within, in the use of applications, primarily focused on ERP systems, our SIS system, and reporting tools and related software. You will work closely with departments to ensure the stability and usability of business applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

An ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication with emphasis on business communications and technical writing, strong organizational skills and attentiveness to detail, and is skilled at performing tasks on multiple projects. Additionally, they will have experience working with finance.

This is a full time, permanent position on-site in Riverside, CA.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitate the use of our various technology resources for the assigned business areas
• Provide technical support to the assigned business areas including report writing, data analysis, testing, training, and implementation support with specific emphasis in Finance and Administration areas
• Provide user support and training
• Track, resolve, and document solutions to customer requests
• Troubleshoot, analyze, test, and recommend solution opportunities for reported issues related to the business applications
• Responsible for report-writing via licensed tools
• Analyze and evaluate internal processes and identifying opportunities for improving operational efficiencies and/or overall productivity of the organization
• Work with the business unit to gather and document user requirements
• Assist in creating and/or updating operational procedures and test plans/instructions, as well as executing test plans
• Provide coordination and communication with business units and ITS to ensure alignment and compliance with the organization's goals and objectives
  
  

What You Need for this Position

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, a technology related degree; OR four years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent

• 3+ years of experience
• Knowledge of business systems, applications, and processes
• Experience working with finance
• Working knowledge of computer architecture, software, and support techniques
• General understanding of enterprise applications
• Knowledge and skills with data tools, reporting applications and data storage, such as Cognos, Argos, SQL, relational databases, and operational data stores/data warehouses
• Skill in using personal computers and related software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and professionally
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
• Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment, as well as manage time effectively
• Ability to think analytically, critically, and strategically
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
• Ability to analyze business processes, software integrations, and best practices to determine optimal solutions
• Ability to review and understand forms/pages, workflows, systems, and business processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work appropriately with sensitive data
