Business Product Development Manager

Overview

Meds.com that owns the consumer facing brand BlueChew, is a fast-growing healthcare technology company seeking a Business Product Development Manager. The Business Product Development Manager will be responsible for special projects and will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to market launch. This role will work directly with the CEO and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, compliance, and engineering to ensure that new products meet customer needs and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company’s vision and goals.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines product development and launch timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of new products and enhancements.
• Define product requirements, specifications, and features based on customer feedback and market analysis.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing phases to ensure the product meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Manage the product development process from concept through to launch.
• Set project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during development.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and work with marketing teams to create product launch plans.
• Train support teams on new products and features.
• Monitor product performance post-launch and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on product development progress and performance.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Development Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
