The Position
Business Process Improvement (SAP) Specialist
Job Summary
Role Primary Responsibilities:
Identify SAP improvement opportunities via Value Stream Mapping and/or other input
Coordinates action plans for solutions across the OPERA organization
Support multifaceted improvement projects related to SAP implementation across the organization
Provide support to traditional I3 activity (CI Program)
Define and clarify internal customer needs across all SAP users
Troubleshooting activities as needed to support sites
Developing and documenting procedures and process to manage SAP capability
Training local site teams on procedures and processes developed
Establishing SAP reports as needed per site/function
Taking learnings forward to sites that have not gone through the process. Share learning from experiences to better the future implementations
Adoption of Best Practices across implementation sites
Willing and able to travel (North America) up to 25%
Requirements
CI mindset - always challenges the status quo and thinks of optimizing the process
Engineering / Data Analytics / Process Focused
Imerys business process knowledge, Imerys-specific organization and people awareness (at least for leader role)
IT / Business Systems – SAP Knowledge
CI (Lean / Six Sigma), VSM, and Problem Solving
1-3 years of experience in process improvement
Degree Preferred (Engineering, IT, Finance or Business)
