The Position

Business Process Improvement (SAP) Specialist

Job Summary

Role Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify SAP improvement opportunities via Value Stream Mapping and/or other input
  • Coordinates action plans for solutions across the OPERA organization
  • Support multifaceted improvement projects related to SAP implementation across the organization
  • Provide support to traditional I3 activity (CI Program)
  • Define and clarify internal customer needs across all SAP users
  • Troubleshooting activities as needed to support sites
  • Developing and documenting procedures and process to manage SAP capability
  • Training local site teams on procedures and processes developed
  • Streamlining reporting requirements across supply chain (P2P / MQM / B2R / O2C )
  • Establishing SAP reports as needed per site/function
  • Taking learnings forward to sites that have not gone through the process. Share learning from experiences to better the future implementations
  • Adoption of Best Practices across implementation sites
  • Willing and able to travel (North America) up to 25%

Requirements

  • CI mindset - always challenges the status quo and thinks of optimizing the process
  • Engineering / Data Analytics / Process Focused
  • Imerys business process knowledge, Imerys-specific organization and people awareness (at least for leader role)
  • IT / Business Systems – SAP Knowledge
  • CI (Lean / Six Sigma), VSM, and Problem Solving
  • 1-3 years of experience in process improvement
  • Degree Preferred (Engineering, IT, Finance or Business)
