Business Process Functional Consultant

Chicago, IL (Remote)

Fulltime Role


Job Description:

  1. Provide high-level guidance and direction in assessing and designing BPCs & FCs ensuring alignment with demand in IT and Non-IT Business processes.
  2. Conduct thorough reviews of each stage deliverables and artifacts with BPCs & FCs.
  3. Provide oversight on the delivery of high-quality solutions, offering guidance to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
  4. Provide guidance and support to BPCs & FCs, providing direction and assistance in implementing projects as per the agreement.
  5. Oversee the activities of BPCs and FCs ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and according to the acceptance criteria.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment on process improvement efforts utilizing ServiceNow features.
  7. Attend steering committee meetings, project & product review meetings and regular connects with Product Owner, Program Delivery Owner, IT Portfolio and Transformation and other stakeholders to address escalations and proactively resolve any issues, risks, or concerns in Business Process Consulting and Functional Consulting.


  1. Desired Skills:ITIL®/ITSM Functional Process Consulting or Process Management Lead
  2. ITIL® Intermediate or Expert certified
  3. ISO 20000 Auditor is plus.
  4. IT & respective technology alignment


  1. Essential Requirements:BE/B. Tech (minimum), MBA (IT/Operations) is preferred.
  2. Minimum IT experience required is 12 – 15 years out of which at least 8 – 10 years in ITIL® process functional consulting domain or at least 6 – 8 years of ITIL® Process owner/manager experience.
  3. Hands-on work experience on at least one Service Management tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, HPSM or any other equivalent industry standard ITSM tool (ServiceNow is preferred)
  4. Team management experience in the past is a must.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language.
  6. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including business writing skills
  7. Experience of performance data analysis of ITIL® processes
  8. ServiceNow certification is preferred but not a must.
  9. Product Owner trained.
