Our client is a professional services firm providing specialized services to companies and commercial customers. Currently, they are looking to add a Business Operations Manager to their team. This person will need to understand the accounting side of the business to support accounting processes.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$90k – $100k

Position Overview

The Business Operations Manager will run the office on a day-to-day basis, be an active member of the Business Operations team, and be responsible for all office events and logistics. The role requires someone hands-on, a strong communicator, and well-organized, and somebody who can be a Business Partner to the Executive Leadership team.

Responsibilities Of The Business Operations Manager

  • Handle accounting activities through QuickBooks.
  • Understand accounting principles and processes.
  • Support invoicing and supervise the Business Operations team to ensure the office runs smoothly.
  • Assist with the logistics and planning for any external client or manager meetings as the Business Operations Manager.
  • The Business Operations Manager will ensure the office is always kept clean and tidy, and help with other administration tasks.
  • Lead office projects.
  • Track all key tasks to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Oversee invoice payment runs and ensure all invoices are paid.
  • Track vendor expenses and travel costs and supervise weekly grocery and supply orders.
  • Travel plan and execute social events.
  • Manage the schedules for a few Partners and Managing Directors.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for business travel.
  • Organize logistics for meetings and ensure the Partners are prepared for meetings.

Qualifications For The Business Operations Manager

  • Very strong organizational and administrative skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong demonstration of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and excellent telephone manners.
  • Team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to contribute to the success of the business.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and 8 years of relevant experience.
