Overview

As a Business Manager you will be supporting our client’s team in the creation and running of the Rhythm of Business and business reviews for the team and organization. You will drive accountability for the team and organization in executing core business activities. A successful candidate will have experience in successfully leading complex strategies and projects to completion.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Rhythm of Business and business reviews for leadership team, as well as develop and carry out its rhythms.
• Articulate objectives that are in alignment with the goals of the organization.
• Ability to do initial business review to see if insights are right altitude and are deep enough or need more work.
• Lead cross-team projects as needed to meet changing business requirements and manage complex business needs.
• Partner with LT to build and drive business strategy through semester planning, OKRs, pillar reviews, fundamentals, and other initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to oversee the creation and implementation of strategy execution plans, while building common ground and alignment across groups.
• Provide leadership support by ensuring business activities are aligned with goals. This will involve leveraging key partnerships to drive leadership agenda and give strategic advice and supporting one or more key business management areas.
• Continually seek opportunities in how we can make better use of data to inform better business decisions.
• Regularly sync with your stakeholders to ensure working towards priorities.

What You’ll Have

• Must have experience as a Consultant or Full-Time employee with a multinational technology corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in a Business Manager or equivalent role
• Self-motivated and ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Stellar communication that influences all team members, bringing them along with buy-in and excitement toward progress.
• Operates effectively at overarching long-term planning while driving daily progress.
• Track record of driving high visibility projects with tangible business and financial impact.
• Effectively triage several competing priorities in an ambiguous environment.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple workstreams within a project.

Compensation: Prime 8 uses different pay ranges based on level of position, relevant experience, and specific candidate location. The pay range for this role is between $60 and $65 per hour (based on full-time employment), plus employee benefits.
