Responsibilities
As a Permanent Business Manager, you will be tasked with a diverse set of responsibilities, all aimed at driving financial performance and business growth. Your responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the financial operations of the organization, including the development and management of budgets, financial reporting, and planning.
- Conducting thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insight into business performance.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Preparing financial reports for senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborating with executive management to devise effective financial strategies and long-term business plans.
- Streamlining financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Providing leadership and support to finance and accounting staff.
To be considered for the Permanent Business Manager role, you must meet the following qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial colleagues and stakeholders.
