Business Intelligence Analyst (2 openings)
100% Remote - Eastern hours
6+ month contract with a possibility of conversion to perm
$45-55/hr W2 (NO C2C/NO Sponsorship)

Job Summary:
Business intelligence analyst gathers the data through a number of ways, from mining Inova’s computer data through software, looking at competitor data and industry trends to help develop a picture of where the company stands in the industry, where they can improve and where they can reduce costs. The BI Analyst will spend most of their time analyzing data including past trends, current conditions, etc. They are able to look at large amounts of data and identify and understand relevant trends. This position must be able to translate complicated data sets into formats that are easy to understand by non-technical people. Ability to recommend solutions for creating better processes and reducing cost based on data and trend analysis. Time Management: Must be able to manage data large projects with multiple data streams and multiple deadlines. Must be able to manage several simultaneous deadlines. Must be able to quickly learn and understand fundamental issues within a business and industry. Able to discern problems or potential problems within business processes. Must be able to work proactively and enthusiastically within a multi-functional team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working with the IT Team to launch new software. Creating policies and procedures and analyzing data
Critically evaluating and screening data, data profiling to identify any issues and discovering new data correlations and relationships
Developing new data analysis processes
Assessing analytics on an ongoing basis
Overseeing the data warehouse, including the collection and utilization of all data
Extending knowledge of Business Intelligence to provide ongoing refinement of processes to improve operations
Express key findings using data visualization tools
Technical Skills:
5+ years experience required
Business intelligence analysts use complex computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends.
2 years developing Tableau reporting and analyzing business data.
Advanced Tableau skills MUST
Working with HR data preferred
Oracle Database - OTBI, BI Publisher Reporting - MUST
Oracle experience MUST
Ability to determine data trends and their implication.
Ability to analyze many different types of data is required.
Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar subject area.
Preferred: MBA, or Masters Degree in Information Science, Quantitative Analysis, or related area.
