National Park College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business faculty member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum in business administration and related fields, advising students, and participating in departmental and college-wide activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach courses in business administration, including but not limited to management, marketing, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and foster an engaging learning environment
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and exams that align with course and program learning outcomes
  • Design, update, and maintain course materials and syllabi to ensure they are current and relevant
  • Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum
  • Advise and mentor students on academic and career goals
  • Assist with student recruitment, retention, and completion initiatives
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide assessment activities
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of business and education
  • Attend and participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and conferences
  • Serve on departmental and college committees as needed
  • Participate in community outreach and partnership activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required skills/abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students in a diverse educational environment


Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Business Administration
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred
  • Professional experience in business or related fields is highly desirable
  • Experience with online and hybrid teaching methods is preferred
  • Involvement in professional organizations related to business and education is preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods of standing at times
  • Prolonged screen time
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
