As the Business Development Representative Manager at InMoment, you will lead and inspire a team of Business Development Representatives to drive our sales pipeline and support our growth strategy. Your role is crucial in developing talent, defining sales strategies, and ensuring that our BDR team is aligned with the company's goals to effectively generate and nurture leads.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role or internally in sales, marketing or current BDR teams
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to achieve quotas and high growth
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills to drive data-driven strategies.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for sales and business development
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce and other sales prospecting tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Persistence and resilience in handling rejection and overcoming objections
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed to reach prospects in different time zones

What You'll Do

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Develop effective sales strategies and plans to cultivate leads, increase conversion rates, and generate sales.
  • Monitor team performance and lead efforts to scale up effective practices and minimize inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and optimize the sales funnel.
  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, and employee development to build a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on prospecting activities, pipeline development, and meeting schedules.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your sales skills and knowledge.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed.

KPI'S

  • Team Quota Attainment: Measure the percentage of the sales quota met by the BDR team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This KPI directly reflects the team's ability to meet predefined sales goals.
  • Lead Conversion Rate: Track the rate at which leads generated by the BDR team are converted into qualified opportunities. This metric is crucial for assessing the effectiveness of lead engagement strategies.
  • Pipeline Growth: Monitor the growth of the sales pipeline in terms of the number and value of opportunities created by the BDR team. This KPI is essential for evaluating how well the team is fueling the sales pipeline.
  • Employee Retention and Turnover Rates: Keep track of the retention and turnover rates within the BDR team. High retention rates can indicate effective management, team satisfaction, and appropriate workload distribution.
  • Training Completion and Performance Improvement: Measure the completion rates of training programs and subsequent improvements in individual and team performance. This KPI assesses the effectiveness of professional development efforts managed by the BDR Manager.
  • Average Lead Response Time: Gauge the average time it takes for team members to follow up on leads. Faster response times can lead to higher conversion rates and are indicative of team efficiency.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback on interactions with the BDR team. This metric can provide insights into the team's communication skills and customer handling capabilities.
  • Incremental Revenue Generated: Track the incremental revenue generated by the BDR team, highlighting the direct financial impact of their efforts on the company's bottom line.
