Business Development Manager/ Sales Manager (CAM) North America

As a member of the international Aurelius Group, SEG Electronics GmbH develops, produces and distributes robust, reliable and intelligent protective devices (IED, Intelligent Electronic Devices) for power generation and power distribution.


We protect what is important for power generation and power distribution: generators, transformers, motors, cables and overhead lines as well as busbars.

The range of services offered by the Power Protection business area is based on more than 50 years of experience in the high, medium and low voltage levels, which has led to numerous international references and technical market leadership in special niche products.


Since the acquisition of SEG Electronics GmbH by Aurelius, the firm has show double-digit annual growth rates and is expected to continue this growth trajectory in the coming years. While having a solid growth rate also in our home markets in Europe, we are looking to additionally strengthen our footprint in core focus growth market such as Middle East and North America.


Therefore, we are looking for you as


Business Developement Manager / Sales Manager (CAM) - North America (M/F/D)


at our office location in Fort Collins, Colorado – or remote.


The customer account manager reports to the global Director Sales & Marketing.

Your main task is to support our growth strategy including acquisition of new key customers and to support existing customers.


Your tasks:

· Support strategic development and acquisition of North American international key accounts and distributors

· Acquisition of new customers and conducting sales negotiations

· Sales planning on the basis of sales forecasts as well as monitoring the development of turnover and sales and deriving corrective measures

· Definition and application of appropriate sales and marketing measures in cooperation with sales management

· Development and application of pricing strategies and implementation in the market in cooperation with sales management

· Contact person and interface to the customer for the solution of technical, commercial and logistical problems

· Support in the development of customer-specific solutions

· Preparation and documentation of market forecasts and competitive information to derive business and sales strategies



Your profile:

· You can demonstrate relevant experience and track record in sales positions and/ or business development

· You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant positions and industries/ applications

· You have an electrical engineering education, e.g. a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical education or proven experience

· You have experience in customer acquisition and business development in North America in the field of industry, control cabinet construction, EPC's, power supply, data centers or similar

· You are a team player with strong communication skills, high customer orientation and sense of responsibility

· You see travel as an enrichment of your professional activities

· You are decisive and have a target-oriented way of working

· You are a person with a ‘can-do-attitude’, a ‘performance-mind-set’ and a ‘fun-to-work-with-personality’

· You are experienced in working with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems
