Business Development Manager

The Opportunity


Premier Group is currently recruiting an accomplished and ambitious Business Development Manager on behalf of our client a global leader of Reporting SaaS solutions, that are revolutionizing the way businesses manage their operations.


Our client's innovative platform empowers organizations across various industries to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, remain Compliant and drive growth.


This position is fully remote, so suitable candidates based within the continental US are invited to apply.


About the Role:


The successful applicant will cultivate relationships with prospective clients to catalyze business development success. In this role you will be responsible for managing inbound leads, generating outbound campaigns, and driving sales growth for complex SaaS solutions.


The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and results-drive and your success will directly impact the firm's growth across the US.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Manage inbound leads and inquiries, responding promptly and effectively to customer queries and requests.
  • Develop and implement outbound sales campaigns to generate new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects and clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Effectively articulate value-based propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales goals.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, reporting on key indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and forecasts to management, demonstrating accountability and transparency in sales activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell / cross-sell to grow the overall footprint of the organization.


About You:


  • Proven track record of success in SaaS sales, with several years of experience in a BDM or Account Manager role.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and technologies, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive and results-driven approach to sales.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales productivity tools (eg Pipedrive, Monday and Slack).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field would be advantageous.
