Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job location: Remote

Job Duration: Dec 2023 - Jun 2024 (strong potential for extension)

Job Description:

  • Purpose of the Team – Collaborating with Strategy & Programs Business Office on key ROB (Rhythm of the Business), Communication, and special projects. Brand new team this year, strategy team is new as well.
  • Key projects – Building Communication plans, Helping with that communication planning, FY25’ Planning
  • Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm -
  • Effectively create executive level communication and presentations (graphics, charts, etc); via Teams, Email, PowerPoint, Viva Engage
  • Create PowerPoint presentations; aligned to Microsoft brand standards.
  • Maintain a high level of aesthetics and quality.
  • Adapt presentations based on key stakeholders’ needs.
  • Support key employee engagement meetings (i.e. Town Hall, Compliance, Strategic Planning)
  • Support special project aligned to Strategic Planning and Team Health.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5-7 years' experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.

Disqualifiers –

  • Doesn’t want to see candidates come in over 10 Years of experience, candidate may get bored in the role.
  • If candidate hasn’t worked in larger matrix organizations (other tech companies similar to Microsoft). Candidates need this experience to be successful.

Best vs. Average –

  • 5+ years of experience in design, data analysis, including presentation design and corporate executive support.
  • Experience with and deep working knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Ability to consume and simplify large amounts of information. Translating via PowerPoint slides, tables, etc.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to interpret and present information effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to receive and provide critical feedback and turn into action and impact.
  • General business understanding is a plus.
  • Someone who likes to build and problem solve.
  • Learn how to use resources and reach out for communications and to learn. l
  • Quality of Work (Huge), Deadlines, Level of collaboration and communication skills.


Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience (Kindly elaborate on these with your past experience)

  • Have to have 5+ years of experience supporting executives (level of confidentiality, polish, communications) This is non-negotiable this is a must have.
  • 5+ years of experience of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Pivot tables, etc. A lot of decks for FY25’ Planning, etc. MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in design, data analysis, including presentation design.
