This is a Remote role that will require Travel.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our North American team. You will be working remotely and will oversee selling and promoting all of First Brands' product lines.
- You will have a dedicated territory and specific accounts within that geographic territory.
- You will use a consultative selling approach and can properly recommend and apply products to meet customer needs.
- You will research customer needs and develop the application of products and services effectively to determine market strategies and goals for each product and service.
- You will strategize and analyze target market trends and prospect list to better target viable customers and provide efficient, on-demand support.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with Sales Leader to aid in the development and implementation of a territory strategy.
- Develop and maintain long and short-range sales and marketing plans.
- Focus regular sales calls at the end-user customers that will pull through sales for the distributor.
- Implement distribution strategies to accelerate the growth of new and additional products and/or new markets.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments within defined target markets.
- Build and maintain relationship management with current and prospective customers.
- Maintain an effective communication path with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products.
- Maintain awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans.
- Provide top-quality, First Brands customer service for all clients and prospects.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and communications.
- Monitor the competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition.
- Act as the liaison between the customer and FBG leadership team.
Job Requirements
Sales experience or equivalent industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
College degree is preferred, but not required.
Selling automotive products or automotive background is preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Salesforce experience is preferred.
Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Utilization of CRM (Customer Relationship Management System)
Ability to drive long distances as required.
Overnight travel required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Changeover skills and manual labor is required for this position.
Ability and willingness to negotiate and work with customers.
