The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.


Responsibilities


  • Prospect markets to identify potential new customers and categorize them by vertical and type.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
  • Define the best route to the market for each product application.
  • Identify new market niches to introduce/specify our products and maximize our share.
  • Identify business stakeholders like designers, asset owners and labs and improve our brand awareness within them.
  • Arrange presentations with designers about different topics (Lunch & learn)) with PDH hours benefit.
  • Prepare and lead presentations in conferences (Geosynthetics, Waste or Mining) about topics related to our site-specific products, in close collaboration with our technical and project management team.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineer or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Desirable: able to travel domestic (50%)
