In this newly created role, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Lead who can spearhead business growth through strategic sales initiatives, identify new opportunities, and cultivate exceptional client relationships. This role requires an understanding of recruitment processes, and the challenges clients face in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Understand client needs and challenges related to talent acquisition; tailor solutions and services to meet these needs effectively.
  • Report on sales metrics, pipeline progress, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery of recruitment services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market changes to adjust strategies accordingly.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in business development, sales or account management role within recruiting, staffing, or the professional services industry.
  • Established network and relationships within relevant industries and client sectors.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs and demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient with ATS software and CRM for sales tracking and performance analysis.
  • Independent self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel internal meetings and conferences.


Compensation


The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually plus commission. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.


You must be able to provide a distraction-free work environment dedicated internet connection. Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is required.
