Key Responsibilities:
Main Sales/Business Development Duties:
Identify and pursue sales opportunities with new clients, leveraging your expertise to generate new business prospects
Lead efforts in preparing and delivering client presentations, collaborating closely with the Technical Solutions team to showcase our capabilities and solutions
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs, aligning our services to meet those needs effectively
Additional Duties:
Review backlog information and sales forecast for new sales and update for consolidation into the monthly Revenue Forecast
Prepare Annual Sales Plans including targeted prospects, sales projections, and the strategic plan to achieve those goals
Prepare 30-60-90-day sales plans with specific activities to generate and develop new sales opportunities
Set up calls, face-to-face meetings, and roadshows with key contacts at different client locations
Collaborate with engineering team to consult clients on technology business opportunities by proposing delivery solutions
Proposal creation, review, and delivery to clients, as well as contract, price, and scope negotiations required to close a sale
Collaborative Duties with Peers and Colleagues:
Understand Novatech’s service offerings, capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities, as well as our portfolio of Clients and target market
Create a sales plan to develop innovative business proposals for potential Clients using a value/consulting selling approach
Work with the existing team to jointly detect untapped business opportunities; jointly prepare and pursue those business opportunities with your leader
Support Post-Sales Team on mapping the Organizational Chart and identifying Key Contacts / potential buying centers
Have experience with and complete MEDDIC framework or similar frameworks
Research potential client business drivers, strategic initiatives, and potential projects to create an Internal Account Plan in the correspondent platform/tool
Identify and prioritize Top X Targets / Buying Centers to be pursued
Orchestrate business proposals working jointly with Sales Solutions Team and Practice Managers
Management Duties:
Enter new Opportunities in CRM and update periodically as they move forward; create weekly updates to show progress
Create quotes in CRM and submit for approval prior to the delivery of business proposals to Clients
Requirements:
3-5 years of sales experience in software development services, with a strong emphasis on hunting new clients and penetrating existing accounts
Proven track record of success in sales, with a solid and proven methodology
Good understanding of IT services and solutions, including cloud computing, managed services, software development, and IT consulting
Experience working with the MEDDIC framework or similar frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Candidate must be based in the US and be a native English speaker
