As a Business Development Associate at PETERMAYER, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and qualifying leads, establishing relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall sales pipeline. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts and collaborating closely with the VP of Marketing & Business Development.
This individual reports to our VP, Marketing & Business Development and is a responsive and responsible right-hand to that VP’s efforts.
Responsibilities:
Prospect, identify, initiate, develop, and nurture business relationships and opportunities in market/target accounts to generate new business opportunities
Building company and executive profiles for use in relationship building
Review sites and sources for new and relevant RFPs
Support RFP/RFI content development and execution
Project management of new business pursuits
Manage and update data in our CRM and SharePoint systems
Assist with the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, presentations, and client proposals
Help plan and execute virtual and in-person events and meetings
Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape

Requirements:
College degree, preferably in marketing or market research
Preferably 1-2 years in sales or marketing role
High level of organization with ability to manage multiple projects at one time, while paying close attention to the details
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and be proactive with excellent written & oral communications
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with a CRM a plus (Hubspot preferred)
