About The Role
Position Summary:
The Business Development Associate will function to promote DAAXIT services to the construction and skilled trades community through networking, developing industry relationships and referral related partnerships with likeminded businesses.
What You'll Do
General Job Duties:
All employees are responsible for a basic knowledge of the employee handbook, along with the mission and vision of DAAXIT and must conduct themselves with behavior that supports these values.
All employees are responsible for making the most of their working time and reaching maximum potential by being on time for appointments, checking voicemails/emails as appropriate and completing deadlines in a timely manner.
All employees are expected to escalate issues as necessary.
All employees must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner as outlined in DAAXIT’s code of ethics and conduct, as found in the company handbook.
All employees will specifically be trained for their job duties, however; other coaching & development opportunities may be deemed appropriate by management for one or all members of the team. These opportunities will be sponsored by the Company.
All employees must occasionally collaborate with the leadership team to create, revise, and maintain accurate job descriptions.
Other projects and/or duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s business development goals.
Collaborates closely with various departments to develop and implement growth strategies.
Conducts market research to identify potential clients.
Manages the new client recruitment and acquisition process including initial prospect contact, relationship fostering and coordinating sales proposal opportunities to the administrative team.
Exhibits creativity to identify and develop new and innovative ways to market the company and enhance the company’s reputation.
Participates in and represents DAAXIT at various networking opportunities including, but not limited to social events, conferences, expositions, sporting events and golf outings.
Actively engages in representing DAAXIT as part of organizational memberships.
Use of CRM software for management of the sales process.
Maintains a strong personal and professional social media presence.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with CRM or related software.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Suite and relevant software.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
The primary language of DAAXIT is English. Excellent communication skills are defined as the ability to:
- Actively listen for total comprehension.
- Ask questions that enhance the understanding of a certain topic
- Relay information and/or instruction in a descriptive and understandable fashion in both written and verbal forms.
This position requires a basic level understanding of mathematical processes.

- Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs. may be necessary from time to time.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, view a computer monitor, and type (up to 8 hours a day).
- Valid driver’s license, a good driving record is required, and a working vehicle is required.
