Role Description
We are excited to offer an unpaid internship opportunity for a Business Development and Marketing enthusiast to join our team at Essencia Partners. This internship presents a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in both business development and marketing within the context of serving SMBs. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, contribute to real projects, and make a tangible impact on the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential SMB clients and understand their specific business challenges and needs.
Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote Essencia Partners' services and enhance brand visibility within the SMB community.
Create compelling marketing materials, including blog posts, case studies, social media content, and email campaigns, to engage with our target audience.
Collaborate with the business development team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and assist in the development of client proposals and presentations.
Write and prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) in response to client requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Essencia Partners' capabilities.
Support the coordination and execution of client events, workshops, and webinars aimed at providing valuable insights and solutions to SMBs.
Analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Provide administrative support to the business development and marketing teams as needed, including maintaining client databases, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages, engage with diverse audiences, and draft clear and concise RFPs.
Passion for entrepreneurship and small business development, with a genuine interest in understanding the challenges faced by SMBs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms (e.g., CRM software, social media management tools) is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
