Position Summary:
T-ROC - The Revenue Optimization Companies is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to join our team. As a leading provider of retail solutions, we require an Analyst who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be adept at financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to support our diverse programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the profitability and financial performance of various programs and services.
- Build models to determine profit and loss for different programs, ensuring accurate and detailed financial reporting.
- Assist in creating financial forecasts to guide strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and monitor financial performance against these budgets.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate data.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing detailed explanations for deviations.
- Analyze cost structures and recommend strategies for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by management.
What it Takes to ROC This Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the retail or service industry.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling techniques. Experience with financial analysis software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with advanced financial software and tools, such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
