Centura Wealth Advisory is hiring a Business Development Advisor for CWA’s consulting department. As a Business Development Advisor, you will perform a wide array of tasks and be responsible for organic growth within the consulting department. Your primary responsibility would include leveraging your existing Center Of Influence (COI) network, cultivating Centura’s existing COI network and developing new relationships with professionals to add to our current COI Professional network. Our vetted COI network is to deliver Out-Bound Retail Client Referrals that match our COI’s target audience and collect In-Bound introductions that meet CWA ideal retail prospect profiles (Founder lead business owners + C-Level executives that have minimum Taxable Income > 2MM+ per annum + minimum Net worth > 20MM+). Our existing in-bound referrals come from these three campaigns:
Elite Advisor Collaboration Program “EACP” in-bound retail client referrals,
COI in-bound & out-bound retail client referrals
Client in-bound retail client referrals
There is a calendar of events (in-person & via web) that we drive EACP + COI professionals to in continuing to educate our professional networks. CWA will continue to publish & present thought leadership on a variety of wealth management topics and stay top of mind with our professional audience. The development of new relationships will occur through attending conferences, COI professional introductions, client professional introductions and industry professional events (No cold calling). Additionally, you will utilize a CRM to manage and record updates for client generation to keep key stakeholders informed.
We are looking for a results-oriented and driven team player who thrives in an environment where they are constantly building relationships. This role requires you to have the ability to identify and qualify potential COIs and communicate Centura’s Ideal Client and Value Proposition.
Roles And Responsibilities
The key areas of responsibility include:
Possess an existing COI group that you can nurture per the above
Develop and execute on the team strategy to achieve annual growth goals for your team
Attend and participate in networking groups, conferences, and events to generate new COIs, and prospects
Maintain sufficient expertise to accurately describe comprehensive value proposition
Own and maintain team COI depth chart for critical referral partners
Prepare and manage marketing COI activities for team annually
Support initial engagement, introduction, and integration of clients to team and company for delivery of key value drivers
Participate in ongoing case work & learn process, strategy and desired outcomes

Qualifications & Experience
Experience
Undergraduate degree is required, preferably in finance, economics, or business administration
5+ years of financial services sales experience as an advisor or wholesaler or in a business development function, required
Existing relationships with CPAs, Estate Attorneys, Tax Attorneys and other professionals that serve High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients, required
Proven track record of hitting sales quotas and achieving growth goals
CFP, CPA, CFA, Attorney or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
Highly effective oral and written communication skills required
Proficient in building sales/business plan and executing strategy to achieve planned results
Able to deliver client facing (Ideal Client Script, COI Value Proposition, Explain client experience case studies to COI prospects)
High EQ
Proficiency in entering and maintaining data in CRM & other internal systems
Qualifying elite COIs to add to COI network
Consummate “networker”, building effective professional relationships
Software usage & proficiency
Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint – required
Salesforce or equivalent CRM skills- required
