We are looking for a talented and passionate Business and Reporting Analyst Position.

General Statement Of Duties

Responsible for assisting the Sr. Manager of Web Development in the management of all aspect’s software quality assurance. Assist with tool selection, configuration, and utilization of automated testing tools. Ability to build and interpret business requirements documents and translate defined requirements into use cases and test cases. Able to perform traceability for all test cases to ensure that all requirements were met. Work in coordination with operational management, analysts/advocates, system managers, DBAs, and Product Development to ensure adequate and complete testing. Assist with defining direction and strategy for strategic Quality Assurance direction. As an employee of the Authority, the Analyst is additionally responsible for assisting with the broad stewardship of the Authority's mission.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Becomes familiar with most aspects of the software applications including Salesforce reports, parameters, servicing, intake services, client interfaces, school, and business partner interfaces.
  • Analyze and understand user requirements.
  • Design tests to verify that business requirements needs have been met.
  • Develop and modify software test scripts and test plans to verify systems meet the specifications outlined in the system requirement documents.
  • Develop and maintain software test script and test plans to verify systems meet requirements for students, partners and schools.
  • Tests and verifies all aspects of software interfaces, web pages, security, database and web service calls.
  • Assist programming staff and structuring and completing strong unit tests.
  • Investigates call escalations from the support staff; makes necessary corrections to data and/or software tests.
  • Follows industry standards and guidelines as they pertain to design and development of use cases, tests scripts and test plans.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current quality assurance tools and other technology advances.
  • Delivers and maintains the highest quality of customer services to our clients.

Preference Will be Given to Applicants with the Following Background:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 5 years of information technology/computer science quality assurance testing experience
  • Experience in interpreting user requirements and development of business application tests strongly preferred
  • Experience of software testing and test design
  • Experience building automated test scripts and manual testing for web based software
  • Experience working and testing in an agile environment
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products Analytical and interpretive skills
